Will You Get Uncomfortable?

Getting uncomfortable on purpose seems kind of backwards. Yet when we leave our comfort zones and work our lives away from familiarity, that’s precisely what we’re doing. I hate this part. There is nothing more disconcerting than effecting a major change in your life.  Really, how crazy is it to move away from the comfortable, on purpose, in order to create something that may be better…or, possibly, might be worse? But that is how consciousness creates reality.  We make our

Will You Be Silent?

Do not be silent when you need to shout. See atrocities happening?  Feel angry, distressed, disturbed, incensed?  Make your voice be heard, and tell them this will not stand. We are being bombarded by almost surreal amounts of negativity.  There are some pretty terrible things happening out there, and they cannot be ignored.  No matter how much we try to stay away from all this bad news, it is impossible not to recognize the awful things that are happening. Hard

How is Communication Key?

Communication is key. It is super easy to take this for granted.  Sure, people talk, they attempt to converse with one another…but all too often, they don’t truly communicate with each other. What’s the difference?  Communication is a two-way street.  Everyone involved both talks and listens.  There is a certain amount of give-and-take, which will take different forms depending on the people involved. Many of the problems in the world today could be resolved if there was actual, factual communication.

Brain Squirrels?

These brain squirrels running around inside my head can be a real annoyance sometimes. Brain squirrels, or for some people brain weasels, are those annoying little rodents running around and causing dis-ease, doubt, distractions, and various negatives to get in the way of just about everything. Working with them can be challenging. I think everyone copes with this in some form or other.  No matter our intent or general thoughts, feelings and actions, these random, little, mostly annoying thoughts just

What Does it Mean to Live in the Now?

To live in the now is ultimate positivity.  Why?  Because we are living. No matter our present circumstances, we are here, living in a world of incredible abundance and possibility, now.  The positivity of this is incalculable. I know that this can be difficult to believe.  I struggle with it, too.  There are responsibilities, bills to pay, weight to lose and other matters that don’t feel so positive.  Yet when we live in the now, we can experience a higher

What is Identity?

Identity has been an interesting challenge throughout my life. As a small child, as much as I can recall, I was a loner.  I had little to nothing in common with the other kids in my neighborhood, for several reasons I don’t need to go into here.  Suffice it to say, much of my time was spent playing pretend on my own, or coming up with cool adventures for my Star Wars action figures in my own variation of the

Three Ways to Live Life

There are, in my opinion, three ways in which we can choose to live life.  There are, as such, three realities people place their lives into. I have written about this before in previous posts, but I think it bears exploring further. Yes, I acknowledge off the bat that these are generalities.  But let’s also face another fact: everyone is unique.  We all think, feel and act differently from one another.  The processes that go into this vary, and though

What Is Pathwalking?

Pathwalking is not just my personal life philosophy.  It is my way of taking all of the ideas I have been studying for many years now, and putting it into practice. A great deal of the process is dependent on thought and feeling.  I have to take the thought, give it necessary feeling, and then perform an intentional action to get where I want to go. Six years ago, in my seventh ever post in Pathwalking, I explained the what

Why Start Pathwalking?

Why did I start Pathwalking six years ago? When I decided that I needed to blog weekly, I came up with this idea.  Pathwalking is the living, breathing process of using consciousness to create reality in order to manifest the life I most desire. Consciousness creates reality.  How do I know this?  Because I have done it.  I know that when we are aware and totally present in the here-and-now, we can build our existence however we most desire for

How is Purpose the Same as Intent?

Action with intent or purpose is far more powerful than action for the sake of itself. Consciousness creates reality.  In order to use this to manifest the end goal or desire, we need to think, feel, and then take intentional action.  I have spent a lot of time writing about thought and feeling, but less on action. Action needs to have intent.  It needs to be done with a purpose in mind.  Action simply to complete the trifecta with thought
