The Ramblings of the Titanium Don

Do You Believe?

Do you believe in magic?

Do you believe that the world is exactly as it is presented to us every day?  Believe that we are all victims of circumstance, playthings of the Universe, and bound by an uncontrollable fate?

Or do you believe there is more?

BelieveI believe that Consciousness Creates Reality.  We have in each and every one of us the power to build a better world.  All of us are capable of becoming amazing.  It just takes the right combination of thought, feeling and action.

As children, we believe in magical things.  Santa Claus, faeries, elves, unicorns, imaginary friends tend to be real when we are children.  I am not decrying education, we need to learn to take care of ourselves…but that doesn’t mean we should entirely let go of being able to believe in magic.

Have you witnessed the beauty of a sunrise or sunset?  Spent an evening gazing at the stars or watching a meteor shower?  Ever watched the rain ripple the waters of a pond?  Seen the joy of a child being smothered in kisses by a puppy?  While there is a mundane aspect of these things, they are still magical.  Why?  Because they have the power to magically transform us.

We have so much more power than we believe we have.  We are capable of creating amazing, incredible things in this world.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” – William Shakespeare’s Hamlet

The world is full of potential and possibility, and when we recognize how powerful this can be, we can take control over how we think, what we feel, and the intentional actions we take.

Believe in magic.  But first, and foremost, believe in yourself.

Do you believe in yourself?

Many of us struggle with our own identities on a number of different levels.  We get caught up in the past and who we have been along the way, choices we did and didn’t make.  Anyone else experience imposter syndrome?

Do you Believe? Most believe that who we are now is who we have always been, and don’t recognize this is the product of our past.  Or we envision who we want to be in time, and don’t realize we need to empower that version of who we are right here, right now.

When we start to believe in ourselves, and our own abilities, we become empowered.  When we feel empowered we can develop a life that matches who we desire to be.  We all want and need things in our lives.  But all-too-often we neglect that everything begins from within us, and that which is outside of us is also outside our control.

How we think, what we feel, actions we intentionally take are entirely up to each of us individually.  So when you believe in yourself, if you believe you have the magical powers to consciously create your reality, it tends to happen.   Finding things to feel positive about goes a long ways towards taking that control.

For the skeptics, let me close with this.  Doesn’t it feel better to work on feeling empowered than to feel like a victim?   Is there any reason to just accept fate and the Universe as unchangeable, rather than take at least a little effort to strive for more?

Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action.

Knowing that if you believe in yourself, you can develop positivity, and by taking control over your thoughts, feelings and actions manifest a better life.  When we believe in ourselves we can do more to affect change, and as such we ultimately empower ourselves.  When we feel empowered, we often spread that feeling to others around us, and as such can build more positive feelings.  We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings.  When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for.  Gratitude leads to happiness.  Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude.  Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
