Are We Worthy and Deserving of Abundance?
We live in a Universe of abundance.
When you consider the size of the cosmos, and the billions upon billions of stars, galaxies, and infinite molecules, how could it be anything BUT abundant?
I know that this seems like a lie. We are constantly being bombarded by messages of lack, scarcity, and insufficiency – but it is still an ultimate truth.
You are probably wondering just what that means. So what? Why does it matter that the Universe is full of abundance?
Because what this means is that there is more than enough of all the things we desire in our lives. The things we think are scarce and lacking are, in fact, not.
We all have needs, we all have wants and desires. They differ in specifics. Every single one of us needs food and shelter. Nearly everyone needs contact, companionship, and some form of community. My perfect home is not your, the foods I consider my favorites you might despise, and while I like to be around people, I know a lot of others who prefer more solitude.
Apart from the needs that drive our ability to continue running around in these meat-popsicles we occupy, all of our other needs are emotional. The things we need, want and desire, beyond that which we have physical need of, stir an emotional response. In all probability, they are meant to make us feel good.
Almost everything we do beyond the necessary basics is an effort to feel good. I do not know anybody who does not want to find contentment, happiness, and good.
We want the non-essential things we want as a part of evoking feeling. And because this is beyond the absolute needs we hold, many feel unworthy and undeserving of these things.
You are worthy of abundance.
It is very hard not to repeat this, but I also think it doesn’t sink in for a lot of people. There are many who currently hold one form of power or other – business leaders, government leaders, religious leaders – and want to hoard as much of it for themselves as they can. They are so greedy and manipulative that they have convinced the masses to put their own self-interests aside and support their need for greed.
To further their agendas, they have vast numbers of people convinced that there really isn’t enough to go around, the things they need are scarce, and that is why they have to be distrustful of the “other”. By expanding the things that divide us, whether its nationality, race, religion, gender, social status or what-have-you, they retain their so-called power.
Also, and this is the most conniving part, they have people convinced that a very few, very limited number of people are truly worthy and deserving. Any who do not meet the criteria of those few are undeserving and unworthy of the scarce resources out there. Fail to meet that criteria and you will be ostracized, cast-out, and otherwise shunned.
Nothing could be further from the truth. This is an abundant Universe, and we are ALL worthy.
Every single person on this planet is worthy and deserving of abundance. And despite the lies and greed of those powerful few, there is more than enough to go around.
Why are you worthy? Because the Universe loves you. How do I know that? Because you are here.
Life is not just about survival. At least, not for human beings. We are meant to thrive, to grow, to explore and gain perspective. Recognizing how worthy we are of abundance, we can see endless possibilities to change and grow.
You are deserving of abundance.
Despite what they say, we all deserve abundance.
None of us are after exactly the same thing. Everybody has different wants and desires, all of us fulfill the needs we have with different things. Some people want to own a fancy, expensive, exotic car. I want a reasonably priced, not-terribly-exotic car. You might want a cheeseburger with cheddar, while I want mine with American.
That which makes me feel good and brings me happiness is not going to be the same as what works for you. They may have similar tones and hues, but they are still different. Further, what I consider to be a feeling of happiness you might feel very differently. There is no way to know, because neither of us can get into the mind of the other.
But we are all deserving of having abundance in our lives. Abundance is not just money, not just things, it’s also intangibles. Health, friends, family, thoughts, new ideas, emotions are all things worthy of having in abundance, and we deserve them.
You deserve abundance because this Universe is abundant. If it was not, how could there always be new things to discover, new experiences to be had, and new ideas amongst the seven-billion plus people on this planet?
When we get entrapped in believing that there is a lack of things and that this is a Universe of scarcity, the only reason that is drawn to us is because consciousness creates reality. Even when we think about things we don’t want, because they are in our thoughts and getting our energy and attention, they can be made manifest.
Think abundance to create abundance.
First and foremost, a very important note here. We can only effect change in ourselves. It is impossible to change anyone else, although we can influence them.
To change our personal reality, we need to think and feel abundance. When we talk about not having enough of something, or a lack of something, we will continue to not have enough and to find lack. This applies to money, health, relationships, jobs, and anything else you can think of. If we want to acknowledge and live abundantly, we need to work on thinking, feeling, seeing and acting on abundance.
We are all worthy and deserving of abundant lives. When we focus more on ourselves, and the things within our control, we might just see the results we truly desire.
Do you see how abundant the Universe is?
