I am absolutely delighted to announce that my Steampunk novel is available for purchase! Clouds of Authority – A Vapor Rogues Novel can be acquired for your Kindle or in paperback. I am really excited about this series.  While it is primarily Steampunk, I have also worked in elements of sci-fi, Cyberpunk and even fantasy. My next novel

I am in the process of editing my next full-length novel. This is a follow up to the 2nd short story I wrote that was published in the anthology Spells and Swashbucklers.  The Vapor Rogues is my Steampunk/Fantasy story, for which I built a really detailed world. The world I created was so rich that I felt the need to expand upon it.  As such, I have completed a first novel for a Steampunk series.  Clouds of Authority – A

Musings on writing projects and getting readers

How do I draw in more readers? I have now published four books. It began with the first year’s worth of Pathwalking, including some extra bits (which largely came from this blog). The second was Seeker: The Source Chronicles Book I. First in the fantasy series I’ve been working on now since 1998. Due to the nature of the story I targeted it not just to lovers of Fantasy, but to young adults. It is certainly no more violent than

There are numerous works of non-fiction in what gets lumped as “self-help”. Some are extremely practical and organizational, while some

Coming Soon – Vortex Pilgrimage

I know that people are waiting for me to complete the editing of Finder – The Source Chronicles Book II. I am still on target to release the sequel to my first fantasy novel in November, so never fear. I am, however, a writer who dabbles in multiple genres. For the most part I stick to the root of sci-fi and fantasy, though I consider The Source Chronicles to be a viable YA (Young Adult) series, and while Steampunk is

My Writing: Current Projects

I write in multiple genres. My first love has always been sci-fi and fantasy, but they are not the only genres I work in. I have written several forms of poetry, journalism, and even started a venture around the idea of business writing. I blog at least twice a week, and look for other opportunities to wordsmith whenever I can. I have on several occasions taken up the challenge of National Novel Writer’s Month. NaNoWriMo occurs every November, and the

Positivity: Fantasy

Sometimes the mind needs an escape. Fantasy is a wonderful means to that end.  Fantasy, in its many and varied forms, can not only provide an excellent escape for the mind, it can also awaken new ideas and deeper creativity. I love being able to experience fantasy.  In addition to all the amazing and wondrous things we humans can create, we can develop stories in incredible places on worlds that only come to being from creative minds. Throughout history fantasy
