How Do Your People Create Positivity?
Your people are a huge contributor to positivity.
There is a difference between people, and YOUR people. People in the general sense of the world, like the population of the planet, can be utterly infuriating. But YOUR people are those whom you hold close. Your confidants, family, friends and loved ones.
We all have individuals that improve our lives. Members of the human race that help us find calm, find happiness and peace and joy. There is someone out there whom we can turn to for support, whether physical, emotional or spiritual.
We all have tribes we create, collectives of people who we want to make time with and for. Our clan are the ones we know have our backs, and that we can work with to generate surreal amounts of positivity.
It is important, however, to avoid getting into an “us versus them” mentality. No two individuals think alike or act alike. Because of that we need to remember that there is more than enough room for our differences. Things get messed up, of course, when we develop intolerance between our populations, and fight against one another.
As small as the planet is, there is more than enough room for us all to coexist. It doesn’t matter what race, nationality, gender, sexual proclivity, religion or what-have-you we consider ourselves a part of. We can all work together with one another to positively make the world a better place.
Be united, not divided.
Today is the anniversary of a terrible tragedy. One group who hated the lifestyle choices of another attacked, intent on mass murdering thousands and terrorizing a nation. Rather than unite in positivity against these negative forces, we have become further divided. We have allowed them to change our way and deepen the fear-based society’s narrative.
The “us versus them” mentality continues to be exploited by many of our so-called leaders so that they can divide and conquer. Don’t believe me? All you have to do is look at the current political climate. The President works with nobody who doesn’t feed his ego, and supports negatively divisive groups. Congress is so divided that they spend more time plotting against one-another than doing anything useful to improve the lot of the nation.
We have our people, but rather than working with our people against others, we need to get our groups to work together. From there, we have the ability to drive massive positivity. We can change the message, and change the world for the better.
Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action.
Knowing that you have your people to commiserate with, you can work with your community to build more and more positivity. When we work together within our peoples, and then reach out to others to work with them and their people, rather than against them, ultimately we empower ourselves. When we feel empowered, we often spread that feeling to others around us, and as such can build more positive feelings in the collective consciousness. We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings. When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for. Gratitude leads to happiness. Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
This is the one hundred eighty-ninth entry of my Positivity series. It is my hope these weekly messages might help spread positive energies for everyone. Feel free to share, re-blog and spread the positivity.
