Sometimes you need a vacation.
Everybody needs to get away from it all. We all need to reset, we all need to not have our usual routine; we need to be free of our day-to-day existence.
Even if it’s only a day, everyone can use vacation.
As you are reading this, I am on vacation. If you’ve been a reader for some time, you will note this time of the year I take the same vacation. Not only am I escaping from my regular life, I am also escaping from the modern world.
There is incredible positivity in vacationing. We all need to take temporary breaks from life as it normally is. This in turn refuels us, enlivens us, lightens us up and makes it easier to handle the day-to-day. Vacation provides a reset, a chance to clear our energies.
With our society in a constant state of go, breaks are few and far between. Further, we frequently deny ourselves proper care; taking time-off for mental health or due to illness is one thing, but getting away on some form of vacation is quite another.
Even when we are using more positivity to better our lives, we still need a break from our daily routines. Taking a vacation removes us from the usual, might break us out of our comfort zone, and offers us a chance to de-stress.
Vacation is a pure positivity creator.
Choosing to take a break is totally positive. It allows you to chill, to clear your energy, to build up your reserves, and to also live completely in the now. I know when I am on vacation, I live for every moment. If we can carry that over into our regular lives, even better.
Everybody needs to take a break from time to time. Vacations are exactly that. They are healthy in many ways, and should be relished.
Rest, relaxation, recuperation, vacation. Nothing negative in any of that. Enjoy!
Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action. Knowing that going on vacation allows you to reset, you have an opportunity to find more positivity. When we get a break from the everyday patterns of our lives, we allow ourselves to feel good and live in the now, and as such we empower ourselves. When we feel empowered, we often spread that feeling to others around us, and as such can build more positive feelings in the collective consciousness. We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings. When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for. Gratitude leads to happiness. Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
This is the one hundred eighty-fourth entry of my Positivity series. It is my hope these weekly messages might help spread positive energies for everyone. Feel free to share, re-blog and spread the positivity.
