The Ramblings of the Titanium Don

How Does Renewal Effect Positivity?

Renewal is frequently the theme for people at the start of the new year.

While change is constant and inevitable, we frequently resist it.  One exception for this, however, is New Years’ Eve.

RenewalMany people formulate a New Years’ Resolution.   They resolve to change something in their life.  Frequently, this is diet or exercise related.  They look to a change they want to make, and attach it to the fresh year.

Resolutions are not much of a commitment.  It’s thought and intent, but seldom includes all three of the necessary elements of conscious reality creation.  Like I wrote about in Pathwalking last week, intentional action is the key to manifestation.

A resolution as a starting point for some sort of renewal is great.  However, as a society of instant gratification and quick fixes, it’s generally going to be insufficient to effect any real change.

Six years ago, I decided that, rather than make a resolution, I would create a New Years’ Action.  Pathwalking came into being from this, and six years later I continue my weekly journey, choosing a path all my own to consciously create the reality I most desire.

I think we should embrace renewal and change more that we do.  To be certain, I believe that the political climate of the United States would be very different from what it is now if we better embraced change.  What if more people embraced progress instead of fearing and resisting it?  Going back to the way things were is never as good as it appears.

As I did six years ago, rather than make an easily dismissed New Years’ resolution, why not take a New Years’ action?

Acting on renewal can manifest reality.

Consciousness Creates Reality.  Manifestation requires thought, feeling, and then intentional, purposeful action.  So rather than resolve to make a change with the New Year, why not figure out an action to be taken?

Renewal 2018I think everyone wants the new year to be an exceptional year.    Let’s strive together to take some positive actions.  Every little bit counts.

Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action.  Knowing that you can use the New Year as a chance for renewal of mind, body and spirit, you can take some intentional actions to spur this.  When we use an opportunity for renewal to take charge of change, we empower ourselves.  When we feel empowered, we frequently spread that feeling to others around us; as such, we can build more positive feelings in the collective consciousness.  We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings.  When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for.  Gratitude leads to happiness.  Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude.  Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.

This is the two-hundred and fourth entry of my Positivity series.  It is my hope these weekly messages might help spread positive energies for everyone.  Feel free to share, re-blog and spread the positivity.
