How Powerful Can Thank You Be?

Thank You are two of the most powerful words available to us.  Thank you is one of the most powerful phrases we can employ.

We frequently neglect just how powerful the words we use are.  Words matter.  What we say has an enormous impact on the world around us.

When we recognize how powerful our words are, we develop the power to make more of the world around us.  We can choose to alter our feelings, perspective, and world view with words.

This is true whether our choices are conscious or subconscious.  What we think about frequently develops feelings.  When we combine thought and feeling together, we can manifest almost anything we can think of.

This is why recognizing powerful words and phrases is important.  Because there is so much power within them, we need to use caution in our self-expression.

Awareness here is important, because when we are aware of our conscious thought in the here-and-now, we are better at having control over our lives.  When mindful of our conscious thought, we make choices about the words and phrases we energize, and that in turn effects what we manifest.

What are the most powerful phrases we have?  I certainly could not rank them, but in addition to Thank You, they include I Am, Please, You’re Welcome, I Love You, I Can, and I Do.  All of these are empowering phrases, capable of creating amazing things.

Gratitude is the keystone to conscious reality creation.  When we have gratitude for that which we have, material or immaterial, we let the Universe know we are appreciative.  Showing appreciation opens channels of positive energy, and empowerment, and that can create almost anything.  Gratitude for what we have creates room to bring in other things we want.

Thank You feels good, and shows appreciation.

Saying Thank You makes me feel good.  Hearing someone thank me for something makes me feel good.  Thank You generates positivity.  Gratitude for people, places, things, tangibles and intangibles alike says to the Universe, yes, I appreciate what is in my life.  Appreciation is both recognition and understanding.   Recognizing things for which to be grateful opens us to more understanding.  Consciousness creates reality.

When we are aware of this power, Thank You becomes a powerful phrase.  Everything in this universe at its core is energy.  Energy vibrates at a frequency, and like attracts like.  When your frequency of appreciation is high, you draw more things to you to appreciate.  You gain the ability to make more things to express gratitude for.

Because Thank You is so powerful, it is important to use this for the expression of genuine gratitude.  How frequently has Thanks Obama been used as a negative connotation?  Thanks for nothing is a statement of disempowerment.  As such, anytime we use Thank You in respects to things we DO NOT want, guess what we wind up attracting?

All of these powerful phrases work in this way.  When you say I Am Stupid it’s just as potent as saying I Am BrilliantPlease leave me alone carries a different energy than Please when asking for another cup of coffee.  You’re Welcome to do it better is equal in power to You’re Welcome spoken in gratitude.  I Can Do Nothing disempowers, whereas I Can Do Anything empowers.  I Do Not Know carries a different weight from I Do Know.  Even I Love You, while an expression of the most powerful energetic force in the Universe, can turn to negative when it is mistaken for obsession or possession.

Use Thank You to invoke empowerment.

As one of the most powerful phrases we have available to us, we are responsible for its use.  Using Thank You for genuine gratitude invokes empowerment.  We empower ourselves by expressing gratitude, and we empower those around us by giving it.

Human beings often fail to realize how much power we possess.  Because our society gets so caught up in fear and lack, we don’t see that the reality of the situation is one of joy and abundance.  We can choose how to feel, whether we let the fear overwhelm us or seek joy.  The Universe is abundant, the only lack we have is what we create for ourselves.

Employing these powerful phrases we have for empowerment can change the world.  Perpetuating the fear, anger, hatred, greed, corruption and intolerance we deluge our social mediascapes in only creates more things to feel negative towards.  Yes, there are bad people out there doing bad things on all kinds of different levels, and we cannot just ignore them.  But we can choose to change the conversation, direct it away from negativity, single-mindedness and lack to positivity, open-mindedness and abundance.

Thank You redirects the conversation.

This is why employing such a powerful phrase to express gratitude is so important.  When we are grateful we are more open, more positive, and better capable to see those who would disempower us for what they are.  When we recognize them as such, we are better equipped to resist them.  Because we cannot undo what is done, we need to work on being grateful for the material and immaterial we HAVE, while expressing thanks for those which we desire.  In this way, consciousness can create a better reality.

What are you saying Thank You for today?

How Empowering Is Gratitude?

Gratitude has the power to change the world.

There is nothing in the world quite as powerful as gratitude to build positivity.  Expressing what you are grateful for is about as pure a positive act as you can create.  Making a statement about the things you are grateful for is always a conduit of positivity.

Positivity 198 - GratitudeRecognizing the good things we have in our lives and giving thanks for them is incredibly energizing.  It can give us a sense of perspective that is surprisingly easy to forget.  But when we start to give thanks we almost always will find more and more things to be grateful for.

Gratitude can be expressed for the tangible and intangible, material and immaterial, on levels great and small and everything in between.  The act of finding things for which to be grateful can stir a lot of emotions, but these emotions will be positive ones.

It’s important to acknowledge that it’s difficult to make improvements and changes in our lives without being grateful for what we already have.  I know how hard that can be, in especial when we are fighting uphill battles, being inundated by bad news across social media, or dealing with a lot of general negativity.  Nonetheless, expressing our gratitude for the people, places, situations and things already in our lives goes a long way towards finding, acquiring and changing to new and better ones.

How does it make you feel when you hear the words “thank you?”  Doesn’t it feel good to be thanked?  When you reverse that and you are the one offering thanks, doesn’t it feel good to BE thankful?  When you don’t just go through the motions of offering gratitude but genuinely FEEL grateful, it is a powerful source of positive energy.

Gratitude empowers us.

Feeling thankful, grateful, appreciative, or whatever other emotion of gratitude we create is a boost of positivity we are putting out into the world at large.  When we express gratitude for things, we ultimately empower ourselves.  Empowerment is a positive feeling.

GratitudeEvery religion, spiritual guide, new-age or hooky-spooky guru, instructor of self-improvement, and every single concept for how to live life to its fullest employs gratitude.  All of them.  Why?  Because there is nothing as potent as expressing gratitude for generating positivity.  There is nothing like the power of expressing our thankfulness and gratitude to build positive energy and ultimately to find more good and happiness in our lives.

Gratitude for what we have generates positivity.  From there, conscious reality creation will let us manifest almost anything.

Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action.

Knowing that gratitude is one of the most powerful generators for positivity, we can use this power to improve our lives.  When we are grateful for what we have, tangible or intangible, we empower ourselves.  When we feel empowered, we frequently spread that feeling to others around us; as such, we can build more positive feelings in the collective consciousness.  We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings.  When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for.  Gratitude leads to happiness.  Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude.  Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.

Positivity: THANK YOU

Thank you.

The words “thank you” are powerful generators of positivity.

If “I am” are the most important generators of positivity, then “thank you” are the next most important.

Thank you is the simplest and yet possibly the most powerful means to convey gratitude. Thank you can change a negative moment into a positive one.

It is not just powerful when you are thanked, but equally powerful when you are thanking. Hearing “thank you” conveys a sense of accomplishment, of positive reinforcement, of appreciation. Saying “thank you” expresses your gratitude both for people and things, and can open up innumerable doors.

These two simple words, spoken with sincerity and conviction can change the world. We are loathe to express gratitude, but there is no good reason for this to be so. We should more frequently and willingly share gratitude with one another.

Don’t you love how it feels when you are thanked for a gift, thanked for a compliment, thanked for a job well done, thanked for helping, thanking for thinking of someone? I have not met anyone who did not receive sincere thanks and NOT felt better and more positive because of it. As such, doesn’t it make sense to SAY “thank you” more often?

People joke about how words matter. But as important as it is for you to be conscious of what follows “I am”, it is also important to express gratitude frequently. Gratitude generates vast amounts of positive energy. Positive energy generates feeling good, and feeling good makes people happier. Is that not what, ultimately, most of us want to feel?

People do not realize the power of these two words. In a similar manner as “I am”, “Thank you” can be a vehicle to both give and receive positive messages, and can change a negative to a positive, a bad moment to a good moment. Just saying “Thank you” for being can build and grow positivity.

As we express gratitude, to ourselves or to others, we open up to greater positive experiences and more opportunities as such to be happy.

Finding positivity is not hard, it just requires action. Knowing that the words “thank you” are amongst the most powerful creators available to us, we have an unlimited capacity to generate positivity for ourselves. When we generate more positivity for ourselves, our positivity can bring about positivity in others, and we can work together to use the positive energy to be happier. If more people receive “thank you” for what they do, this leads to them to give “thank you” to others. Gratitude leads to happiness. Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.

More frequently expressing thankfulness and gratitude for the life we have will open up new avenues to building bigger and better things for which to be grateful, and ultimately it opens our hearts, our minds and our spirits. When we are feeling gratitude, and expressing that to ourselves and the world around us, this helps us in generating a positive attitude. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
