I’m Not Feeling at all Flustered and Stressed – You’re Stressed!

Yeah, that’s a lie. I’m feeling flustered and stressed. But what comes next is on me. Let’s talk about the great big elephant in the room. Feeling stressed. Virtually everyone deals with stress from time to time. Deadlines, pressures to do things from within and without, expectations, and many other things can be stressors in our lives. Even when you seek to carve your own path in life – it is not stress-free. I don’t care who they are –

Release the Pressure

Much of the pressure you’re under is of your own making. This makes it hard to release the pressure. In a lot of us, there is an instilled need to be constantly doing. Striving. Working to gain, advance, achieve, or what-have-you. The need tends to create pressure – which then leads to stress. While stress in small amounts can be an impetus for creation and a lot of amazingness – too much stress leads to depression, anxiety, and mental/emotional issues.

Why are Rest and Relaxation Important?

When was the last time you allowed yourself real rest and relaxation? I am not talking about sleep, or a little weekend escape, I mean actual, factual relaxation and resting from your responsibilities? Modern society frowns on taking breaks.  We have this incessant need to go go go, and anybody who doesn’t reflect that is either lazy, entitled, or otherwise not contributing to the greater good. Where do you find your Path?

Where do you find your path? This can be a daunting question.  Finding the path you want to walk is a matter of necessity. No two paths are the same.  Similar in some respects, but not the same.  For example, it is my personal goal to become a bestselling author.  While there are lots of bestselling authors out there, each of us will traverse different paths to that goal.
