The Ramblings of the Titanium Don

Sometimes You Truly Need a Change of Perspective

Your point of view – no matter how broad you think it – is restrictive. I pride myself on my ability to regularly see all sides of a given argument. Even if I vehemently disagree with the other side – I can still see it. My side, their side, and sometimes even the absolute between or apart from both is evident. However, it’s come to my attention that, even if I can see more than one side to a given

How Do We Embrace Pain and Suffering for What They Can Teach Us?

We can choose to learn from pain and suffering. Everyone experiences pain. Everyone experiences suffering. Not just a few people – EVERYONE. Pain and suffering are a part of the life experience for everyone everywhere. Why? Because both are channels for growth. Pain and suffering almost always suck at the time of their occurrence. For Some, Positivity is Extra Hard This Time of Year

It can be extra difficult to remember that positivity and all its elements are already inside us. For some people, the holidays are the best time of the year. Life can be a real struggle.  For some people, that struggle takes on a lot of elements that most people cannot see.  Mental illness is seldom, if ever, a thing you can simply “get over.”  It requires attention, it requires thought, and though it will feel like a lone struggle, the

How Does One Step Build Positivity?

Some days you just take one step at a time.  Then follow it with another…and another…and so on. For myself and many of my friends and loved ones, last week was a serious downer.  We lost people who meant a great deal to us.  Losing people special to us is hard.  Returning to our regularly scheduled lives can feel particularly trying. When I look for positivity every week, I acknowledge that nobody lives in a good headspace all the time.
