How Do I Change How I am Feeling?

To change anything in life, changing what I am feeling is the key. Conscious reality creation requires thought to begin, feeling to fuel the flames, and intentional action to ignite them.  For me, altering feeling is the toughest part of this. Last week I got to see Jen Sincero, author of You Are a Badass, speak.  Like her books, she was an inspiring speaker.  Unlike many of the other authors I have read or listened to, she manages to really

How Do Words Matter?

Words matter. The words we say matter.  But what matters more are the words we think.  In especial, those we think frequently, and those we use in reference to ourselves. Most of us are thinking constantly.  Hell, for a lot of us, the very notion of turning off our brains seems totally impossible.  One of the reasons why meditation is so healthy is because when we meditate it’s one of the few times we can stop the chatter. However, since

What Is Pathwalking?

Pathwalking is not just my personal life philosophy.  It is my way of taking all of the ideas I have been studying for many years now, and putting it into practice. A great deal of the process is dependent on thought and feeling.  I have to take the thought, give it necessary feeling, and then perform an intentional action to get where I want to go. Six years ago, in my seventh ever post in Pathwalking, I explained the what

Why is How I See Myself Important

How I see myself is of far more importance than how other people see me. Jen Sincero said it well in You Are a Badass – Self Perception is a Zoo.  It is a bunch of very different, multiple, diverse animals we keep caged up, but let run free in the world from time to time. There are at least five ways in which I see myself in this world.  Different identities that I tend to show the world. The

We Deserve It All

I deserve all the good things I desire. Over the last several months I have had a mantra I have recited with much frequency.  I am abundant and prosperous.  I am a good person, worthy and deserving of abundance, prosperity, success, wealth and joy.  Succeed or fail, I am supported and I am loved. Taking an online course offered by Jen Sincero, author if my favorite self-help book, You Are A Badass, she calls this creation a Mantra of Mightiness.

Am I Worthy and Deserving?

I am worthy and deserving of awesomeness in my life. It’s interesting how often I need to remind myself of this.  There have been many instances where I do not feel as though I deserve to have the things I desire in my life. Crossing the Bridges is the most personal of my weekly posts.  I am exploring not only my philosophies and approaches to life, but my actual, factual life. In Positivity I pointed out that YOU are amazing!

How Can I Best Use Time?

Time is relative.  Our perception of it is variable, fluctuates, and changes depending on how much attention we are paying to it. Einstein told us that time is an illusion.  More specifically, he said, “The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”  Yet our whole society obsesses over these distinctions. Last week, I wrote about my tendency to always put my work on conscious reality creation ahead of me.  Not in the here-and-now, but

Why Start Pathwalking?

Why did I start Pathwalking six years ago? When I decided that I needed to blog weekly, I came up with this idea.  Pathwalking is the living, breathing process of using consciousness to create reality in order to manifest the life I most desire. Consciousness creates reality.  How do I know this?  Because I have done it.  I know that when we are aware and totally present in the here-and-now, we can build our existence however we most desire for

How does Finding Good in Bad Things Make Life Better?

Even when things look really bleak, we can still find good in them. We are living in interesting times, in many ways like the Chinese curse.  There are a lot of people who seem hell-bent on messing with social order, let alone taking away good things for people in the name of politics and money. Yes, this is mostly a pretty terrible thing.  And yet, there has been good to have come of it.  People are taking more notice, taking

How to Make Monday YOUR Day

Today will be whatever you make it be. It’s far too easy to approach Monday and the traditional start of the work week with distress, trepidation, displeasure, and unhappiness.  There is an entire culture of Monday woe in this society, which has been and continues to be capitalized on, and as such gets reinforced. Does anyone want Monday to suck?  I am pretty sure the answer is NO.  I don’t really know anyone who wants to be miserable, who wants
