Positivity: Knowledge

We have the potential to absorb knowledge like a sponge.

Human beings have a unique adaptability that no other creature in the animal kingdom shares. We can make our homes in any climate, any geography, anywhere we would choose.

Knowledge is power. That statement has been used to frighten people for a long time now. The truth is, knowledge is not simply power – knowledge is life.

There is always something new to explore, something new to be learned. The truth of knowledge being power is that knowledge empowers everyone, and erodes the control those who perceive themselves to be in power generally want to keep for themselves.

It is not a bad thing for us to have knowledge. Knowledge lets us live longer through understanding the body and medicine. Knowledge allows us to harness electricity to heat and cool our homes and cook our food and so on. Knowledge will help us leave this solar system, will give us the tools to stop and reverse artificial climate change and build a better future for us all.

Knowledge is a positive force in the universe. The more you know, the more tools you have to shape your own life, to build your own world, and to control your own destiny. Knowledge IS empowerment. Empowerment lets us control change, and helps us to have more happiness.

Those who perceive themselves in power hold knowledge as close to themselves as possible, and deride science and education for fear that empowering the people will take away the control they desire. They see a finite amount of power in the world, but the truth is that knowledge is infinite, and so too is power. There is always something new to learn, and there is always a new source of power, tangible or intangible, to be discovered.

Knowledge is at our fingertips. We can unlock information at the blink of an eye, virtually anywhere in the world. The more knowledge we share, the more positive energy we can build.

What has knowledge got to do with positivity? Because knowledge is the first step in being able to take control, choose your own choices in life, and take a positive rather than negative approach to the wonders life has to offer us all, it is a logical progression that from knowledge comes positivity.

Gaining knowledge shapes our world. And our world is so full of potential, has so many amazing things to be discovered, we should revere knowledge, and seek to gain more and more for everyone, everywhere.

Finding positivity is not hard, it just requires action. Knowing that there is always something more to be discovered, we can use knowledge to generate positivity. When we use knowledge to build a better world, more positive energy comes into being. The more knowledge we take into ourselves and share, the more Positivity we can create. Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
