The Ramblings of the Titanium Don

How Empowering Is Gratitude?

Gratitude has the power to change the world.

There is nothing in the world quite as powerful as gratitude to build positivity.  Expressing what you are grateful for is about as pure a positive act as you can create.  Making a statement about the things you are grateful for is always a conduit of positivity.

Positivity 198 - GratitudeRecognizing the good things we have in our lives and giving thanks for them is incredibly energizing.  It can give us a sense of perspective that is surprisingly easy to forget.  But when we start to give thanks we almost always will find more and more things to be grateful for.

Gratitude can be expressed for the tangible and intangible, material and immaterial, on levels great and small and everything in between.  The act of finding things for which to be grateful can stir a lot of emotions, but these emotions will be positive ones.

It’s important to acknowledge that it’s difficult to make improvements and changes in our lives without being grateful for what we already have.  I know how hard that can be, in especial when we are fighting uphill battles, being inundated by bad news across social media, or dealing with a lot of general negativity.  Nonetheless, expressing our gratitude for the people, places, situations and things already in our lives goes a long way towards finding, acquiring and changing to new and better ones.

How does it make you feel when you hear the words “thank you?”  Doesn’t it feel good to be thanked?  When you reverse that and you are the one offering thanks, doesn’t it feel good to BE thankful?  When you don’t just go through the motions of offering gratitude but genuinely FEEL grateful, it is a powerful source of positive energy.

Gratitude empowers us.

Feeling thankful, grateful, appreciative, or whatever other emotion of gratitude we create is a boost of positivity we are putting out into the world at large.  When we express gratitude for things, we ultimately empower ourselves.  Empowerment is a positive feeling.

GratitudeEvery religion, spiritual guide, new-age or hooky-spooky guru, instructor of self-improvement, and every single concept for how to live life to its fullest employs gratitude.  All of them.  Why?  Because there is nothing as potent as expressing gratitude for generating positivity.  There is nothing like the power of expressing our thankfulness and gratitude to build positive energy and ultimately to find more good and happiness in our lives.

Gratitude for what we have generates positivity.  From there, conscious reality creation will let us manifest almost anything.

Finding positivity is not hard, but it does require action.

Knowing that gratitude is one of the most powerful generators for positivity, we can use this power to improve our lives.  When we are grateful for what we have, tangible or intangible, we empower ourselves.  When we feel empowered, we frequently spread that feeling to others around us; as such, we can build more positive feelings in the collective consciousness.  We can use the positive feelings this generates to dissolve negative feelings.  When we take away negative feelings, we open up space to let in positive feelings, and that is something we can be grateful for.  Gratitude leads to happiness.  Happiness is the ultimate positive attitude.  Positive attitude begets positive energy, and that is always a good thing.
